As I mentioned in my previous blog post, I really love all of the independent coffee houses in Chester. For me, a visit to Chester definitely means to a visit to Jaunty Goat Coffee.
I have really fond memories of Jaunty Goat Coffee and always have a positive experience! So, read more of my review to find out why I recommend this lovely little Coffee Shop!

First of all, Jaunty Goat Coffee has a really amazing shop front in the prime location of Bridge Street, Chester. Its cute outside seating area and window facing indoor seating section means it’s a great place to people watch the bustling Chester high street.

On entering Jaunty Goat, you are greeted by a counter with a wide array of sweet treats to choose from! From there, you can see that there are plenty of options for seating – for all group sizes.

From memory, I know that the coffee at Jaunty Goat is great quality, smooth with a thick body and nicely balanced. I opted for a latte and was not disappointed!

Surprisingly, the menu was totally veggie and vegan which is great for non-meat eaters. However, I do eat meat and was a little disappointed to find that they only offered meat alternatives. Each to their own! As a result, I chose a Red Velvet cake – by recommendation of the really helpful team member! The cake was a generous size, fresh and spongey with a lovely, classic Red Velvet Icing!

One thing I absolutely love about Jaunty Goat Coffee is their impressive merchandise section available to customers for purchase! Their logo and branding is lovely – I wouldn’t mind one of those fab cotton bags (pictured)!

Jaunty Goat is also dog friendly – something I am so on board with and appreciate! They provide a dog bowl with water and some pup snacks, too (pictured above).
The team were notably respectful of Covid-19 regulations and wore face shields/masks at all times!
Once again, I had a lovely experience at Jaunty Goat Coffee and definitely recommend this place to you all. It is the perfect blend of trendy, cosy and cute and is great for catching up with friends, studying or a solo lunch! It is a ‘must visit’ for me whenever I venture to Chester!
Let me know of your experience if you end up at Jaunty Goat Coffee!
